Dr. Young and his wife started GI Associates in 1991, building it into the practice it is today. They came to Wausau because they loved the area and wanted to bring advanced gastroenterology to central and northern Wisconsin. Over the course of his career, Dr. Young has performed well over 50,000 procedures. In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Young loves the outdoors and enjoys many outdoor activities including fishing, kayaking, hiking, and snowshoeing. He also likes taking his golden retrievers Benjamin, Leo, and Barney on long walks in the woods.
